A 4 × 6 inch hand-printed greeting card made using the linocut printing technique. Each design is carved, inked, pressed by hand, and inspired by the month’s mental wellness theme. The card is printed on cardstock and left blank inside, ready to be mailed, shared, or saved as a small piece of art. Envelope is included!

A hand-folded, eight-page mini booklet featuring creative contributions from members of the Cartas & Care Cub community and guest contributors. Contributions may include any creative work that can be represented on paper — from a quick sketch or riddle to a music video or interview.

Meet Our Founder, Yaz
Howdy, I’m Yaz!
I’m a poet and photographer born and raised in Dallas, Texas, shaped by Mexican and Southern traditions and the strength of community.
As the oldest of eleven, I grew up learning how to care for others. Somewhere along the way, I also began learning how to care for myself—through writing, creating, and paying attention to the small things that keep us grounded.
In my creative work, I’m drawn to the seemingly mundane, fleeting moments we’re taught to overlook as a way to heal and connect with what makes us human. I observe and document the intimate, ordinary nature of everyday life—from gestures that become favorite memories to passing interactions easily forgotten. I believe these fragments of daily life hold something deeper, reflecting our survival and tethering us to who we are and where we come from.
Cartas & Care Club was born from that practice.
Each month, I send thoughtfully curated envelopes filled with original poetry, photographs, and handmade paper goods. Every carta is an invitation to slow down, notice what’s within you, and remember that your inner world deserves care.
My hope is that with every letter, you’re reminded that you are not alone, that you matter, and that somewhere out there, someone else is unfolding the same envelope, sitting with the same words, and finding their way home, too.
